I have rarely done this before, but I kind of liked the way my last image looked when I pulled the camera back. Although I was very satisfied with the framing on the other version, I also like the different perspective on this one.
This image I would like to dedicate this image to for two reasons. #1 She had the courage to give me some very honest feedback one time that I appreciated more than I can express. and #2 She is one of the most amazing 3D artists that I have the pleasure to know and I don't feel she gets as much credit as she deserves.
I am not a 3D artist, as you know, but I do appreciate it greatly because it never ceases to astound me, and you as an artist, are no different. Your work is always amazing but this piece, oh my, this piece is something more.
The lighting is what has grasped me so strongly about this one and the other, the one more zoomed in on her face. The lighting is perfect, and it just looks so natural, like a photograph. It leaves room of question and mystery and wonder. The way the lighting is...painted(?) on, it is so fluid that if it had not been done this way, it would not look as nice or natural at all.
I also love the color scheme and how bright the hair is, and the skin tone that lovely shade of gray that only you could make look so enticing. The hair is phenomenal and I only wish I could achieve such realism in that one feature.
She's looking away from the "camera" which I like, because it makes you question as to "what" she is looking at or focusing on. She looks as if she's either about to feed on something quite delicious, or she already has and is simply relishing in that fact.
You know how to breathe life into your pieces and this is no exception. It is definitely, in my opinion, one of your best. I am astounded and blown away. Excellent job my friend. I love it.
I have to say, I think I love this one more. The little changes in camera angle, field of view, etc. really make it seem more..dynamic and alive. Not to mention the fact that it's just plain gorgeous!
Thank you so much I have to say that normally I don't like to do a repeat scene and my intentions were to show a friend who had asked what the rest of her pose was like, because we had been talking about it and was going to upload to my scraps. But when I moved the camera back, I really liked how she looked. It's fun when that happens.
