When I was in high school we used to go camping out in the desert. When of my favorite places was out on this dry lake bed. It was just totally flat and it was like you could see a billion stars when you looked up at night. It felt like we were totally alone and away from the world out there and yet it felt very safe.

It's been quite awhile since I've done any kind of art that I felt was challenging. I've had a hard time finding that zone again, where it's just fun to work on little details. I started to feel a little of that mojo again working on this, it was fun.

Modeled, textured, and rendered in C4D with the physical camera render.

Bit scary Stagey...cross between a spider, scorpion and cockroach but the modelling is EXCELLENT and I love the description and the starry dry lake bed. Cool beans! :D :hug:
