My friend KC rarely agrees to have her picture done, but I managed to catch her in a good mood. Together we have shared many wonderful times, we've laughed, cried, loved, and told stories. Can KC ever tell a good story, I often find myself hanging on her every word. Vivid fantasies and glamorous vampires, and yet there is always a touch of humor somewhere in the stories she tells. She is indeed my most trusted friend.
So it was tonight, or maybe it started early in the morning I can't quite remember, KC sat me down and said she noticed I was losing my passion. She could tell because a few times she had tried to call and I didn't answer, that's always a true sign she said.
KC looked straight at me with her most vivid blue eyes and said "passion is the whole reason for living." She told me to listen to her because she has the key for fueling that passion. Passion means doing what feels right because it feels right to you, not because it is what is expected or popular. Passion is truly putting yourself into everything you do.
I started to tear up, just a little mind you, but she was right I do need to fuel my passion and get my mojo back. I smiled and she smiled back the only way that she can.
It was then I seized the opportunity to get her picture done.
You see KC is indeed my very best friend, she resides in my mind, I frequently refer to her as my muse. Even though in a physical sense she is imaginary, the advice and creativity she shares with me are all very real.
You have truly outdone yourself with this piece, my friend! Every technical aspect of it is perfectly sound: the hair is completely natural, down to the loose strands of hair framing her face, her skin looks so real, I could reach out and touch it. The lighting is dramatic yet natural, and the composition--with her portrait set off-center but filling the space completely--is superb.
But what really blows me away with this piece is the eyes: they are simply mesmerizing. The deep blue colour is beautiful and brings her features to life. They are just so clear and gently piercing that I can't help but feel she is looking into my soul, perhaps asking me if me if I am putting my whole into everything I do.
These eyes look through your soul and seek the lost fragment of the passion that ignited the beeing you seem to be losing...Extremely gorgeou, yet with a great sence of realism in composition, how the face doesn't seem dialed up plastic rather here it looks human, the skin is simply fantastic and the eyes are ever haunting, the hair are simply gorgeous. Your friend is right, I really hope your passion will come back and she's a gorgeous muse I must say. Trully a gorgeous render wich as the great quality of unseemingly be 3D, to give that impression of portrait. A beautiful snapshot of a moment. Simply mesmerising
Thank you so much! This one has very special meaning for me, it's like she holds the key to all my art. I tried to make her look very realistic, but then not quite.
