This is an image that I've been working on for awhile, the design as a tattoo for myself. I think I finally have something that I'm happy with. Still need to make a few adjustments to the hair, but I'm sure now this is the one.
What I am really attempting to do is create an image that I can hand over to tattoo artist, something that gives a very clear design of what I am looking for.
This image sort of works for that. The only thing is that I don't really want any white ink in it, at least not to the degree it is in this image. The parts of her face and neck that are white in this image, I really just want the contours and shadows filled in. The only true colors I want are her blue eyes and red lips.
Photoshop is actually one of my weak spots so without actually carefully drawing around the eyes, lips, and hair to select them, I don't really know how to leave the image with just the shadows and contours of her face.
I'm not quite sure that I am making complete sense here or maybe even I'm over thinking it. But in a nutshell, I want to end up with a tattoo that has no white in it, except maybe the teeth, and leave everything else intact.
If anyone out there viewing this can give me any advice I would so much appreciate it
I understand what you mean. The whites and high lights of the picture you want to be filled in with the colour of your skin instead of white ink....This is a gorgeous gorgeous image. Where are you going to get it at? And how big is it going to be?
Yes exactly what I want I'm going to get it on my upper arm but I need to be able to cover it up with a short sleeve shirt, so it will be about 5 inches tall. I am going to get it at a place that is pretty much known in the area for doing the best tattoos.
Thank you!
